I am a photojournalist and documentary photographer with a passion for getting to know people and working through a unique angle for photography in situations that are both mundane and exceptional. I have traveled the US and three continents photographing and interviewing people and issues that interest me. I do not enjoy limiting myself, whether it is digital still, video, 35mm black and white, Kodachrome or a Speed Graphic, I choose whichever tool available would best tell the story.
I am currently available to shoot or assist on very short notice in the Milwaukee/Madison/Chicago area and have and am willing to travel as well. I hope you enjoy my photography and please feel free to contact me concerning any assignments.

Knowledge of a wide range of photography equipment, bodies, lenses, flashes and accessories (Canon ,Nikon, Leica, Medium Format, Large Format, Standard DV, HD DV, most models of Audio Recorders and Microphones)
Digital and darkroom developing and editing and production techniques (Adobe Creative Suite, Photo Mechanic, Apple Aperture)
Experience in collection and production/editing of both sound and video for use in online multimedia (Audacity, Final Cut Pro, SoundSlides, Flash, HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript, Ruby On Rails)
Experience covering many different events, both pre-planned and breaking stories (anti-war protests and other large crowds, state and national elections, major sports events, spot news, feature photos as well as extended overseas personal and freelance assignments in Europe and Eastern Africa.)
